Imagine a book where every page lays perfectly flat, whether you're taking notes, flipping through a presentation, or following a recipe. That's the magic of wirebinding! Also known as twin-loop, coil binding, and the proprietary Wire-O binding, this method uses a durable wire spine to hold your pages securely together. It's a fantastic choice for anything from notebooks and planners to reports, manuals, and even children's coloring books.Wirebound books are perfect for any large or small bound project. They are capable of holding a larger number of pages and feature a wire binding at the top or side of the document. This style of wirebound booklet is commonly used to organize large quantities of information and feature the opportunity to be used as a portable, reusable writing surface.
Similar to spiral binding, our wirebound books feature a metal coil binding. This type of binding provides a sturdy solution for compiling many pieces of information and is perfect for any application that requires repeated use. Wire binding is great for hanging calendars, notepads, recipe preparation sheets, instruction manuals, and much more; with a wide range of sizes and uses the possibilities are endless. Printworks does not have a minimum for custom wirebound books, making it the perfect option for printing dissertation or thesis documents and personalized photo books. Additionally, “plus cover” or “separate cover” booklet printing refers to using a heavier, more durable paper stock for the cover than the rest of the pages in a booklet. Please account for the space that the wire will take up on the sheet(especially the front cover!). ½” from the bound edge will be obstructed by the wire, be sure that no important information is going to be obstructed by its placement.
Wire bound books are recommended for projects between 10 and 105 sheets(dependent on size and paper stock).
The maximum height of the “bound edge” must be no longer than 11”.
